I know, I shouldn't have brought up the joke (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I'd LOVE to have one on my 356...it's rather finicky until it warms up. I'm excited to buy one for my 914 when they are ready. |

Yes we are there.
I have a group of 30 coming out and another 40 underway. I just have not had enough time with changes at the day job. I will however be making a big announcement in the next 3-4 weeks. -Mark |

No it's a throttle control for warming the carbs up at startup. Connects to the accelerator linkage and by pulling the black handle just sets a tiny bit of throttle to raise RPMs during warm up. I would definitely NOT use this during driving. Very unsafe. It's as safe as you want to make it. Using it as cruise control on a high speed crowded freeway? Unsafe. Using it as cruise control in the middle of the desert on interstate 40? No problem. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

Just thinking Perhaps this should be sold with a disclaimer. Not intended for automotive use. It's a replica of an old part for ornamental purposes only. DO NOT INSTALL ON YOUR CAR as we will not be liable for your misuse of our product.
In this day with those type of questions being asked. It's best to state it's not intended for installation on your vehicle. If you do so we will not be liable for your intentional misuse of our product. |

All the custom motorcycle components we used to manufacture were sold with a liability disclaimer "For Show Use Only, Not For Street Use" ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

I'm in. If I'm too late for the first batch I'll wait for the second.

Mark,
Add me for 1. Looks like an interesting project. Will my Rennshift require modification to make the correct fit ? |

I wonder how this will install with a center console... The lever fits in the slot in the front part of the shifter housing. Should not be a problem with a center console. Bruce Would that mean a Rennshifter would have to be modified to accomodate the lever ? |

We actually had the levers chrome plated, so they will hold up nicely.
